Gronk-Kins!

We decided to carve our pumpkin with the likeness of our favorite little monster: Gronk. If you’re not familiar with Gronk, its a webcomic drawn by Katie Cook about a sweet monster that prefers kitties and bacon to scary stuff. The entire story is beyond cute. Gronk Comic.

While we’re talking about geek-dom, I’ve also added four new DC-Cats and Marvel-Cats to the gallery! Check it out!

Doctor Who Zippered Pouch

Being relatively new to sewing, I was terrified of zippers.

Zippers were some kind of voodoo black magic that seemed confusing for a newbie like myself. But then I found a fantastic tutorial on zippers from Splityarn.com that made the process easy as pie. Having only touched a sewing machine a few times, I was able to make this fantastic zippered pouch using my Doctor Who-inspired fabric from Spoonflower.com!
